AuxMix - Showcasing Talent

For our final assignment in this module our task was to create a lullaby for a childrens short story. Our lullaby had to include three components : a melody line, a bass line and a counterpoint, in which should be no more than a minute in length.

I First of all developed the initial idea for my lullaby in the sequencer called Reason. However i developed the idea further in Pro Tools due myself learning how use MIDI in Pro Tools and i believed that the piano patch in Pro Tools was softer in iits nature than in Reason.

I decided to base my lullaby on a childrens short story about a mother's unconditional love to her child. But i also took some inspiration from listening to Classic FM on my phone which was very useful indeed.
