Lullaby - Jake Style
So I based my lullaby on Noddy. Noddy was this little dude who drove a red and yellow car, even though he was blatantly underage.
I decided to compose my entire peice on the piano because I felt that many an instrument would be more confusing than sleep inducing.
My peice began with a bass and melody line. I equalised both parts so that they were out of each other's way, and added reverd to make them more full sounding.
Half way through the peice, the counterpoint melody begins. I decided to pan this part to the extreme right, and pan the melody line to the extreme left. I felt that this would add a sence of seperation to each part. To emphasise this, I gave the counterpoint melody line its own equalising and added alot more reverb to it. I hoped that this would create a kind of shadow undertone for the main melody, and I think that this is acheived.
The key was Cmaj, and I created the tune on Logic.

And there it is.
